A food tour is a guided culinary experience where participants visit restaurants, street vendors, food markets, and other food-related establishments to sample local dishes and learn about the local cuisine.
- What types of food can I expect to try on a food tour?
You can typically expect to try a variety of local dishes and drinks, including street food, traditional cuisine, desserts, and more.
- How long do food tours typically last?
3-4 hours
- Do food tours cater to dietary restrictions?
If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will check to see if we can make it work. However, many street food venders are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Is tipping customary on food tours?
While tipping is not required, if your tour guide is especially knowledgeable and provides a great experience – please feel free to give a tip at your own discretion (10-15% would be appropriate)
- What should I wear on a food tour?
You should wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothing. If you are going by motorbike, please keep in mind you will be climbing on and off the back of the motorbike, so dresses and skirts are not recommended. In general, lightweight, comfortable clothing is recommended.
